Hey everyone, how are you?
Hope all is well! Look, we’re all going through this economy together so let’s try to help each other out and solve some of the issues we’re facing within our industry. Okay, what’s a pretty major issue for all of us? MONEY. Capital. It’s a little harder to come by these days. So, what to do?
One thing that came up recently at Party Pals was trying to figure out a way to expand our inventory without actually expanding our inventory. In other words, what can we do with our existing games that will effectively expand our inventory without buying new equipment? Without that big capital outlay? What you see below are some of the results of that brainstorming:
With our Wrecking Ball game…we said, "Okay, Halloween is coming up. What can we do new this year?" Well, we decided to cover the ball on this game with a Jack O Lantern face…what was the result?...immediately we rented this twice for Halloween themed events…something that never would have happened for these particular events had we not done this. What else can we do?...baseball covers, basketball covers…there are all kind’s of things we can do…just use YOUR imagination and tell us what ideas you may have!!!
Oxygen Bar…we had never thought about changing the color on our O2 Bar…it had always been blue and we had a slew of blue chairs to go with it. However, a client recently called and said that their client wanted a red O2 Bar…could we do it?...We looked at the bar, determined what needed to be done, did it, bought rend chairs, and WHALA!!!...a hot new look for our O2 Bar. Now we’re thinking, maybe we can change the colors for Halloween (orange and black), Holiday parties (red and green), etc…see what I mean? For a minimal cost (relatively speaking), we changed the look of games and made them more rentable, more flexible in their use… MORE FUN!!! And, let’s face it, that’s the business we’re in!
So, let’s come up with ideas to help each other market our products and services…it’ll help all of us through this current economic climate. We’ll make it through…and it’s going to be one heck of a PARTY when we do.
Take care until next time,
Jeff and everyone here at Party Pals
